Rules

Wiffle Ball is 5 innings long and 3 outs an inning.

No spikes are allowed no matter what the conditions

Strike zone is below the chin and above the shins.

If the ball is thrown away runners may advance. If there is a fence or something out of play the ball goes into the runner receives one base.

Home plate ump can overrule any field ump.

Throwing of the bat is not allowed if it becomes dangerous to the players or breaking the bat. A warning is not needed in extreme cases it may be called an out or disqualification from the game. If you break a bat you buy a new one.

Scheduled games should not be canceled and made up if you are not going to be there then you should notify the person making the schedule.

Teams may play with one player during the season. Playoffs will be canceled until two players are present.

If you cannot make a game you must call ahead of time or else the game will go on with out you.

Any ball that goes threw a fence or any obstacle on the field it is a ground rule double. If there are special situations with the field the umpire should go over them before the game.

All weather is considered playable. In extreme conditions the commissioner may call games. All games are official after three innings.

Any pitch that a batter steps into that is a strike should be called a strike.

Umpires may throw people out of games. only the commissioner may suspend players from games.

Sloter Rule is a 10 run lead after 2 innings. During the playoffs and all star game there is no sloter rule.

All spit balls are illegal if you lick your fingers you must wipe your hands before pitching. Also nothing may be inside the wiffle ball.

If a fan interrupts with a play the umpire can call a ground rule double or a re do.

When a player is suspended from a game he must not play in the next game played.

The commissioner has the right to suspend any player that he feels has done something to get the league in trouble. The suspension must be for the next game.

In any game that goes into extra innings a player is placed on second base in the beginning of the inning and the runner is the last out of the previous inning.

It is ok to swear while playing wiffle ball but no foul language should be used towards the umpire.

No player may be taken out during a game for an advantage unless the player must leave or is injured.

If there is a three way tie there will be a round robin tournament to decide playoff teams. If there is a tie between two teams they will play a head to head wild card game.

Players should arrive on time to games if they do not the game will be postponed for 10 minutes but if two players are present then the game must start.

All star game participants are to be voted on by inter division voting. (players vote on one player from each team in there division)

The draft will consist of players getting a ranking and a random draw out of the original wiffle ball hat.

Trades are permitted for one half hour after the draft is completed.

Trades must be approved by both managers but not by the players being traded.

No trades may take place during the season

Trades must also be approved by the co commissioners.

Team captains may not be traded.

A player must be traded with a player of the same ranking.

Home run derby participants are the players with the highest amount of home runs on each team. ( 1 from a team) ties may be determined between two teammates.

Playoffs first round are best out of three and championship is best out of 5.

Any player that is part of the league may be an umpire as long as they are not participating in the game. Any umpire who is not in the league must be approved by the co commissioners.

Pitcher hand is out any where on the field of play.

On a force out the fielder may peg the base or within a foot of the base before the player gets there. (also on tag plays)

If ghost runners are on base the runners advance only as much as the batter.

15 games during the season

Money must be payed before the first games there are no refunds if you quit.

Players cannot round a base and try to advance saying they are going to bat.

No umpire may be added during the middle of an inning only after a complete inning.

Intoxication is not required but it is incouraged.

A player can peg the base with the ball if it is a force out. But the ball must bounce within 1 foot of the base before the runner gets to the base.

There are no bribes, and gambling between members of the WBL. You cannot payoff a team to loose or trade a player if this is found out by the commissioners then the guilty people will be kicked out of the league.

The pitcher is allowed one step onto mound and release the ball before stepping off the mound.

Fielding gloves are illegal but batting gloves are ok.

The field distance may not be changed during a game.

If any player quits the league a replacement may be found but he must be approved by the commissioners.

Pitchers may re enter as many times as they like.

Side arm pitching is not allowed this is the umps call.

Pitchers hand gets out the batter all other runners advance.

Any other situation that may happen during a game is up to the discretion of the umpire and the co commissioners.
